Midnight Cowboy

, Start Time: 19:15 The Victoria Hall High Street, Cromarty IV11 8YR

Cert: 18  1969  113 mins

Director:  John Schlesinger
Guest:  Gregor Fisher

Dustin Hoffman’s weaselly, hobbling Ratso is the original American icon of homeless despair. It’s Jon Voight, however, as the preening faux-cowboy stud reduced to turning $20 gay tricks, whose tenderhearted vulnerability helps make Hoffman’s triumph possible. Featuring a wonderful film score by John Barry, it won the Oscar for Best Picture and also Best Director for John Schlesinger.

This is one of actor Gregor Fisher’s favourite films, and he will be here to talk about it.

Tickets: £7
