The first Ghostbusters film was breathtakingly made thirty years ago. Any remake of a classic struggles to be accepted as being as good at the original. The original quartet of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson have been recast in this remake as an all woman cast, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mckinnon and Leslie Jones. This version of the film does an impressive job of standing on its own as a freewheeling, marvellously cast supernatural comedy. Come to the popular late night movie, enjoy popcorn, a drink and a laugh. Proton packs and other fancy dress optional.
