Bill Forsyth
Probably the man most credited for having put modern Scottish cinema on the International film stage. Bill was originally a Documentary Film-maker and now known for his quirky off-beat features.
Director of a catalogue of films, which are often cited at the top of the list of Best Scottish cinema: That Sinking Feeling, Gregory’s Girl, Local Hero, Comfort and Joy, Housekeeping, Breaking In, Being Human and Gregory’s Two Girls. We are thrilled to welcome Bill to our Film Festival, where he will be screening and talking about That Sinking Feeling as well as his own favourite film.
