Kevin Macdonald

It’s not surprising that Kevin ended up in the film industry as a creative and well reviewed director, his maternal Grandfather was the famous producer/director Emeric Pressburger. Unusually, Kevin has moved comfortably between documentary and drama. Most famously for his epic documentary Touching The Void and the award winning feature film Last King of Scotland, which we previously screened with the producer Andrea Calderwood as our guest. Kevin is currently finishing a documentary about Whitney Houston which will be released next year. He will be screening and talking about Touching The Void and he will also introduce and discuss one of his favourite films—the celebratory Singing in The Rain.
